Servicemen of the 7th military base of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia, together with servicemen of the de facto Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia, spruced up about 30 monuments, memorials, and graves to soldiers of the Red Army.

More than 200 military servicemen were involved in the event dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day which is celebrated on February 23.
