Preparations for the International Army Games 2022 started at the 7th military base of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia. Reportedly, the qualifying stage of the Masters of Artillery Fire competition is underway. The exercises are held at the Nagvalou military training ground.

As part of the event, military servicemen destroyed targets located at a distance of 150-1200 m with 120 mm Sani mortars. KamAZ units individually passed a 5-kilometer route full of various artificial obstacles.

The event involves about 500 military servicemen, as well as 60 vehicles and artillery units. The military servicemen with the best results will compete in the second qualifying round of the competition.
