International Women's Day was celebrated at the 7th military base of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia. March 8 was congratulated to female military servicemen and civilian personnel of the base.

In the evening, a ceremonial concert, a performance by a military orchestra and musical numbers were performed in the base assembly hall. After which the women were presented flowers, thank-you letters and valuable gifts.

There are over 100 servicewomen and 150 female civilian staff at the 7th military base.
