According to the press service of the President of the de facto Republic of the Tskhinvali region, Alan Gagloyev, the de facto President, held a telephone conversation with the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov.

During the conversation, Gagloyev extended birthday greetings to Lavrov on his birthday and positively assessed mutual cooperation between the two “republics.” Gagloyev expressed hope for further development of alliance and strategic partnership.

Lavrov, for his part, said that Russia and the occupied Tskhinvali region “have always been and will always be together.”
