A working meeting was held in the Security Council of Russia between the Secretary of the Security Council of the de facto Republic of Abkhazia, Sergey Shamba, and the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, Rashid Nurgaliyev.

On March 23, the parties will sign an agreement on mutual cooperation between the Security Councils’s offices in 2023-2024.

Shamba and Nurgaliyev discussed current issues of national security, as well as the prospects for the development of Russian-Abkhazian relations.
