On March 30, 2019, Mikhail Degtyarev Chairman of the Russian Federation State Duma Committee of Physical Culture, Sports, Toursim and Youth Affairs visited Tskhinvali Region for the first time. The State Duma Deputy met with the de facto President of Tskhinvali Region Anatoly Bibilov. During the meeting Degtyarev talked about Tskhinvali Region huge tourist potential, also noted Ossetian Athletes success.
