By a decree of the de facto President of the Tskhinvali region, Anatoly Bibilov, the so-called Ministry of Emergency Situations was instructed to provide assistance to the flood affected city of Kerch in the occupied Crimea.

The third meeting of the Joint Commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation between the de facto Cabinet of Ministers of Abkhazia and the de facto Council of Ministers of Crimea was held in Abkhazia.

A master class on the Development of Cooperation with South Ossetia and the Republic of Abkhazia: Export of Goods and Services was held as part of economic cooperation between the Tskhinvali region and Crimea. The remote meeting was organized by the Southern Regional Export Support Center of the Russian Federation with the assistance of the de facto Ministry of Economy of Crimea.

Seven years have passed since the annexation of Crimea on March 18, 2014. According to the Director of the Institute of Economics at the Federal University of Crimea, Viktor Reutov, the Crimean economy has since grown 2.5 times compared to the 2014 benchmark.

Abkhaz delegation visited Crimea Annexed by the Russian Federation. Delegation will attend the inter-governmental committee second session on cooperation development in trade-economic, scientific-technical and humanitarian fields.

During his visit to Crimea occupied by the Russian Federation, Anatoly Bibilov, de facto President of Tskhinvali Region, discussed possibility of implementing joint projects with de facto Governor of Sevastopol.

At the extraordinary session, State Council of de facto Republic of Crimea, annexed by Russian Federation, approved agreement on cooperation with Tskhinvali Region in trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural fields.

On March 21, 2019, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation in Moscow, Abkhazian Delegation attended international conference – “the Crimea in Modern Geopolitics. 5 years of the Crimea Spring“. Abkhazian Delegation was comprised of the de facto first Vice-Premier Daur Arshba and the de facto Ambassador Igor Akhba.

On January 16, 2019, public association of the „Russian Society of Abkhazia“ issued a statement regarding criminal situation aggravation and attacks on the citizens of the Russian Federation on the territory of Abkhazia in January.
