The Ministry of Economic Development of the Stavropol Krai held the next “Hour with Trade Representative” video conference. The “Trade Representative” of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia, Vladimir Nekrasov, spoke with potential exporters from the Stavropol Krai about the specifics of entering the Abkhazian market.

It was sounded that the import of goods to Abkhazia is easier due to the absence of obstructive tax barriers and the sufficiency of Russian certificates for the supplied goods. It was also noted that the two sides have great potential for cooperation.

Reportedly, the Stavropol Krai imported USD 2.2 million worth of products to Abkhazia in 2020.
