Delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation visited de facto Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tskhinvali Region. Aim of the Delegation visit, comprised of the various department members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, is to provide practical support to Tskhinvali.

At the meeting General Major Igor Naniev, de facto Minister of Internal Affairs of Tskhinvali Region, stated that fight against organized crime is the priority direction in bilateral cooperation, as well as protecting public order and legitimate interests of the citizens. Naniev highlighted importance of the activity of the Joint Information-Coordination Center of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Tkhinvali Region and Russian Federation. Mentioned Delegation attended the Center opening in Tkhinvali in December, 2018.

According to the Head of the Delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Vadim Oberemenko assessment, certain results have been achieved after three years of interaction. Especially he noted the importance of the Joint Center activities.
