A delegation of the de facto City Administration of Sokhumi, at the invitation of the Head of the city, Evgeny Pervyshov, arrived in Krasnodar. Krasnodar invites representatives of twin cities every year and the events traditionally last several days.

Sokhumi and Krasnodar became sister cities in 2012. On April 22, the Sokhumi delegation visited the Day Kubani plant. The company was founded in 2002 and produces more than 60 types of ketchup, mayonnaise and mayonnaise-based sauces.
