Military police division of the 7th military Base of Russian Federation in Abkhazia exercised in defencing important facilities from the attack of unmanned aerial vehicles. Recently received large scale machine guns „UTES“ were used in the exercises.

Machine guns provide additional air defence for command points from unmanned aerial vehicles’ attack. The machine gun is designed to destroy enemy forces, lightly armoured targets, fortified firing points and aircrafts. the new machine guns are unique as they might be used against ground and air targets.

On Tsebelda military polygon at 1.5 km distance servicemen have destroyed 40 air targets.
