Anti-terrorist units of the Southern Military District and Military Police of the Russian Federation conducted joint exercises in Armenia, Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region. Military servicemen practised in self-defence and protection of military settlement territories.

Exercises were conducted with the support of armoured vehicles „Tigr“ and „Typhoon“. Up to 1000 servicemen and more than 70 units of military equipment were involved in the exercises.
