The fight against Covid-19 continues at the 7th military base of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia. A field hospital sent by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation received 42 patients infected with the coronavirus. At this stage, 40 people are undergoing inpatient treatment. The hospital conducts PCR tests as well, the test results are known in 40 minutes.

At the same time, streets and buildings are being treated with a special disinfectant solution. RCB (radiation, chemical, biological) protection specialists disinfected a total of 40 thousand square meters in Gagra, the “administration” building, and adjacent areas to the central market.

Disinfection works were carried out in Gudauta as well. A total of 120 thousand square meters of territory was treated with a special disinfectant solution. The work was carried out mainly at the social infrastructure such as the city “administration,” the Central Regional Hospital, buildings of sports school and so on.
