Reconnaissance units of the 7th military base of Russia in Abkhazia conducted special-tactical exercises. During the exercises, the latest armoured vehicle „Tigr-m“ manufactured by “GAZ“, which the base received in February 2019, was used for the first time.

The mass of each vehicle is 6.5 tones, with the maximum speed – 120 km/hour. The vehicles are intended to be used for conducting reconnaissance, escorting and protecting convoys, patrolling, providing fire support for military servicemen. 

The military servicemen have worked out taking control over conditional enemy’s vehicle, also conducted search operations by means of reconnaissance equipments and unmanned aerial vehicles.
