Military units of the Russian Federation deployed on the territory of occupied regions of Georgia celebrated the 74th anniversary of the victory over fascism in Sukhumi and Tskhinvali.

In Tskhinvali, personnel of the 4th military base of Russia and the Border Division of the Russian Federal Security Service, together with the local military units, participated in solemn march on central square. At the end of the event, Anatoly Bibilov, de facto President of Tskhinvali Region, commemorated soldiers who lost their lives at the villages of Fris and Tbeti. Together with Bibilov, Russian“Ambassador“ to Tskhinvali Region Marat Kulakhmetov also participated in the event.

The 7th military base units also participated in military march, in Sukhumi. Musical orchestra of the 7th military base performed at the event.
