On May 17, 2019, in Tskhinvali, parliament of the sixth convocation held a ceremonial meeting to mark completion of its work. Guests from de facto Republic of Abkhazia, separatist regimes of Ukraine Donetsk and Lugansk and North Ossetia Republic-Alania attended the session. Petr Gasiev, the Speaker of de facto Parliament hosted them.

Guests and participants visited memorial complex to the „Defender of the Fatherland“ and participated in the event held in Cinema and Concert hall „Chermen“.

The next illegitimate parliamentary elections in Tskhinvali Region will be held on June 9, 2019.
