The de facto President of the Tskhinvali region, Anatoly Bibilov, met with the Russian Ombudsman, Tatyana Moskalkova. The meeting was also attended by the Commissioner for Human Rights under the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, Inal Tasoev, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation, Znaur Gassiev.

Tayana Moskalkova spoke about the history and activities of the ombudsman office in the Russian Federation. Mr. Bibilov and Mrs. Moskalkova discussed issues of cooperation, including the prospects for participation of staff of the South Ossetian Human Rights Ombudsmen Office in educational programs.
