The Maslenitsa traditional Russian holiday was celebrated in the Tskhinvali region. The festivities began on February 28 and lasted until March 6.

The celebration was held at the Rossotrudnichestvo office in the Tskhinvali region. Attendees took part in various entertainment events during which traditional Russian songs and dances were performed. The event was also attended by refugees from the Donbass region. Sergey Skvortsov, the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office, delivered a speech at the event.

The event was organized by the Rossy non-governmental organization, the Russian “Embassy” and the Rossotrudnichestvo office.
