On March 14, a creative competition dedicated to the Battle of Stalingrad ended in the Tskhinvali region. The competition will identify six winners whose award ceremony will be held in the near future.

The competition started on February 7. It was organized for school children. Participants, from 12 to 17 years, were to show how they understood this event of the "Great Patriotic War". All of them were awarded certificates. Original works of the participants will be printed in booklets and distributed on May 9. The winners will take part in the cultural-educational program Hello, Russia!  

The event was organized by the non-governmental organization Rossy and the Rossotrudnichestvo office in the Tskhinvali region.
