Sergey Skvortsov, the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in the Tskhinvali region, spoke about educational quotas of the Russian Federation. In an interview with Radio Sputnik South Ossetia on June 16, Skvortsov focused on the procedure for admission to Russian universities.
The process of selecting future students is led by the Rossotrudnichestvo office. According to Skvortsov, 22 people will be able to continue their studies in Russia this year. The list of required specialties is determined by the de facto government of the region.
Each entrant can choose from six educational institutions. Mostly, they choose the universities of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
