According to the representative of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation operative response units of the Russian military bases dislocated in Abkhazia conducted more than 200 military trainings on crisis management during 2018. 

More than 1000 best-prepared servicemen participated in the trainings, with hundreds of military equipment involved.
