A memorandum on cooperation was signed between the “Ministry of Health” of Abkhazia and the Federal Service for the Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare of the Russian Federation.

The cooperation memorandum in the field of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological well-being was signed at a solemn event which took place in Moscow and was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Russian Federation. The de facto Health Minister of Abkhazia, Eduard Butba, was invited as an honoured guest at the event.
