According to the Minister of Education of the de facto Republic of Abkhazia, Inal Gablia, the “Republic” received more than 34,000 textbooks for 10th and 11th grade students with the support of the leadership of the Russian government and the Russian Ministry of Education. Gablia thanked the Russkiy Mir Foundation for supporting this project.

As Inal Gablia said, the occupied Abkhazia will receive textbooks for 8th and 9th grades as well.

In 2022, Abkhaz language and Russian literature textbooks for 4th, 5th, 10th and 11th grades were republished. This is the second batch of textbooks which the de facto Republic of Abkhazia received from Russia, and the circulation was 34,000.
