On December 22, the Secretary of the de facto Security Council, Anatoly Pliev, was in Moscow.

During the visit Anatoly Pliev met with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Patrushev. The parties signed a mutual cooperation action plan for 2023-2024 as well as discussed areas of common interest and opportunities for deepening relations in these areas.

Such a high-ranking visit of representatives of the de facto regime of Tskhinvali to Moscow is not the first this month. Recently, a “delegation” of Tskhinvali also met with the speaker of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, in order to deepen the future “inter-parliamentary” cooperation.
