Valeri Bganba, de facto Prime Minister of Abkhazia, participated in the plenary session of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum-2019. The forum was opened by the President of Russia. Within the Forum framework, Bganba met with the members of Russian Government: Vitaly Mutko, Deputy Chairman, Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy and Alexander Beglov, acting Governor of St. Petersburg.

Bganba met with Sergey Chebotarev, Minister of North Caucasus Affairs, as well. At the meeting was discussed formation of Investment Program for 2020-2022 promoting socio-economic development of Abkhazia. The program will be approved at the 18th meeting of inter-governmental committee on socio-economic cooperation between Abkhazia and Russia.
