On November 16, a representation office of the Federal Agency for CIS, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Affairs in the occupied Tskhinvali region (hereinafter - Russian House), Sergey Komissarov, met with schoolchildren in the “Republican Children's Library.”

The meeting was held with students who were participants in several streams of the international youth project People of Artek, funded by the Russian government. As part of the program, the Russia House sends winners of various competitions to the Artek international children's camp in Russian-annexed Crimea. In addition to the de facto republics, the program is carried out in approximately 50 countries and precedes the camp's centenary celebration in 2025.

During the meeting with the students, Komissarov expressed an initiative to create a “social movement of Artek residents” where young people will join and “tell new generations about the incredibly interesting world of the legendary center.”
