On September 15, the Russian Health Minister, Mikhail Murashko, paid a two-day working visit to the occupied Tskhinvali region.
On September 16, Murashka took part in the II International Medical Conference "Practical Aspects of Medical Development. The de facto Minister of Health of the occupied Abkhazia also participated in the conference. Speaking at the conference, Murashko said that "South Ossetia" is being transformed, and medical organizations are becoming better equipped and modern. As he added, the format of telemedical consultations with the de facto Ministry of Health of "South Ossetia" will be expanded.
During the visit, Murashko visited the central hospital of the Java district and the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center in Tskhinvali.
Murashko also met with the de facto President, Alan Gagloyev.
