On October 1, the so-called Minister of Foreign Affairs of the de facto Republic of Abkhazia, Sergey Shamba, met with Anastasia Udaltsova, a deputy of the Russian State Duma, a faction member of the Russian Communist Party.

The meeting discussed the issues of the Russian-Abkhaz cooperation. The Head of the Consular Department of the so-called Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lasha Avidzba, was also present at the meeting.
