Specialists of army communications of the Southern Military District of Russian Federation conducted large-scale exercise, processing sustainable and continuous communication between the district management points. Exercises covered Russian military bases dislocated in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region.

Army communication specialists utilized medium strength radio station P-166 Artek as well. More than 1500 servicemen and up to 400 special techniques were involved in the exercises.
