On January 25, 2019, at the International Center "Moscow House" in Sokhumi, Dmitry Kononov, „Rossosrudnichestvo“ Consultant in Abkhazia, held a meeting with applicants to the Russian universities.

Kononov advised applicants to choose higher education institutions in the cities close to Abkhazia (for example, in Rostov) and not in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The entrance exams are expected to start in February-March. Applicants are to register by January 31 through special website.
