On February 15, 2019, in Sochi, the Russian Federation, in the framework of Russian Investment Forum  2019, de facto state company of Abkhazia „Sea Shipping Company“ and Russian open JSC „Black Sea Cruises“ signed agreement to organize cruise connection between Abkhazian and Russian ports by 2020. 

As per the plan cruise ship „Knyaz Vladimir“ will arrive in Sokhumi port for a test run this year.
