Engineers of the 58th army of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation participated in tactical-special exercises. During the exercises, the engineers practiced driving heavy armoured equipment.

The training lasted for three weeks. The exercises were held in North Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya, Dagestan and the Tskhinvali Region. More than 1300 military engineers participated in the exercise.
