On February 14, 2019, in Sochi, Russia, during the Investment Forum 2019, de facto Prime Minister and the Finance Minister of Abkhazia Jansugh Nanba and the Governor of Nenets Autonomous Okrug Aleksander Tsibulski signed memorandum on intention to develop cooperation in trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural fields.

The memorandum was signed in accordance with the agreement on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between Russia and Abkhazia signed on September 17, 2008.
