As a part of bilateral anti-subversive tactical trainings, reconnaissance unit of the 7th military base of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia carries out combat-training tasks.

Exercises are held at Tsebelda military polygon. Servicemen of the reconnaissance unit, armed with sniper rifles („Винторез“), machine guns („Печенег“) and other weapons, perform surveillance-subversive and anti-subversive tasks. Their primary task is to eliminate conditional enemy. Once the enemy's location is discovered, reconnaissance unit servicemen report information to the command line and destroy the enemy with the use of artillery and aviation.

Over 300 military personnel are participating in the training.
