On February 18, 2019, regular military exercises have been completed at the 4th Russian military base in the Tskhinvali Region. Bilateral tactical exercises took place at Dzartsemi military polygon.

One tactical group played the role of airborne landing party and another –  conditional enemy.

More than 2500 servicemen participated in the exercises with up to 300 units of weapons and military equipment involved.
