Artillery units of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia exercised in combat shootings at distant targets using various weapons.

Recruits of the fall call-up participated in the exercise for the first time. The trainings were held at mountainous range of Tselebeda military polygon.

About 500 artillerymen participated in the exercises.
