As part of the emergency preparedness test, fire brigades of the 7th Russian military base in Abkhazia, together with local emergency services, exercised to eliminate conditional fire at the base.

In addition to eliminating the fire, firefighters also exercised in evacuation of military equipment and property from the fire zone. About 50 servicemen participated in the exercises. Modern fire extinguishing equipment and fire engines were used during the exercises.
