Communication specialists of the 4th military base of the Russian Federation in the Tskhinvali Region, established closed satellite communication channels between the subscribers of different military units, at a distance of 1000 km.

More than 1.5 thousand units of military equipment were involved in the tactical-special exercises, including special stations and communication complexes „Редут-2УС“ and „Артек“.

The exercises were held at the Russian Southern Military District military polygons, including Volgograd and Rostov Oblasts, Stavropol and Kuban, Dagestan, North Ossetia, Armenia and Abkhazia.
