In Abkhazia about 500 servicemen of the Russian Southern Military District practised combat shooting.

Servicemen exercised to destroy tanks, self-propelled artillery and enemy combat positions at more than 2,000 meters distance. During the shooting servicemen used automatic grenade launchers AGS-17 and -7 hand grenade launchers RPG.
