For the first time Russian 4th military base personnel exercised using airmobile groups in Dzartsemi polygon, Tskhinvali Region. The exercise took place on the ground and in the air as well. More than 20 helicopters of aviation army, in order to take their positions, ensured tactical air raid provision in the mountainous regions. 

More than 2000 military personnel and up to 300 units of military equipment participated in the exercise, among them were multiple rocket launcher system „Grad“, helicopters „Ми-28Н“ (Ночной охотник) and „Ми-8АМТШ“ (Терминатор).
