On July 24, 2020, de facto President of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, met with the Russian “ambassador” to Abkhazia, Aleksey Dvinianin, and the “embassy” Envoy, Maxim Litvinov.

De facto Foreign Minister, Daur Kove, also attended the meeting from the Abkhaz side. The issues of bilateral relations were discussed at the meeting.
