De facto Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Daur Kove congratulated birthday to Alexey Dvinyanin “Ambassador“ of Russian Federation to Abkhazia. Alexey Dvinyanin was born on March 5, 1967 in the city of Voronezh, in RSFSR, USSR. On March 30, 2018, at the directive of the President of the Russian Federation, Dvinyanin was appointed to the position of the “Ambassador” of Russia to the de facto Republic of Abkhazia.

Until appointment to this position Dvinyanin had been working on Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region issues for 13 years. He is considered one of the most versatile diplomat for South Caucasus policy issues in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. He was an active participant of the Geneva discussions and is well aware of ongoing processes in occupied regions of Georgia.
