The de facto Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Abkhazia, Beslan Jopua, hosted businessmen from the Stavropol Krai, the Russian Federation. Among the guests was the chairwoman of the Pyatigorsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Larisa Kartashova. 

The President of the de facto Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia, Tamila Mertskhulava, and the Russian Trade Representative in Abkhazia, Vladimir Nekrasov, also participated in the meeting. During the three-day visit, representatives of Pyatigorsk agro-industry, agriculture and tourism industry visited enterprises in different regions of Abkhazia. The main purpose of the visit was to develop economic relations between Abkhazia and the Stavropol region.
