The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, instructed to sign a joint agreement with the Tskhinvali region.

The next stage will be negotiations between the Russian Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs, and, on the other hand, the de facto authorities of the Tskhinvali region. After the signing, the agreement will be ratified by the Russian State Duma and the Tskhinvali de facto parliament.

To remind you, the agreement is on mutual recognition of the seniority of military service, as a result of which contract servicemen will receive salary supplements, and a monthly pension supplement up to 40% will be accrued to servicemen upon retirement (only if pension is received from the Russian Federation). As scheduled, the agreement will be signed on February 23.
