On June 10, 2019, Rashid Nurgaliyev, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Russian Federation, Curator to Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region, paid working visit to Abkhazia. Two months earlier, on April 22, 2019, Nurgaliyev together with Inter-Agency Delegation of Russia was in Tskhinvali Region on three-day working visit.
Working meeting at the de facto government of Abkhazia was held with representatives of the Ministry of North Caucasus Affairs, Treasury and Central Bank of Russian Federation. Within the three-day working visit, Russian delegation will monitor the purpose of consumption of Russian financial assistance for 2018. The Russian side will also review development of investment program for 2017-2019, in which implementation of 59 events and consumption of 1 billion 681 million RUB is considered.

The guests of honour at the event were Raul Khajimba, de facto President of Abkhazia, and Rashid Nurgaliyev, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Russian Federation.
On June 10, 2019, results of general medical check-ups, conducted for the population of Abkhazia, were summarized at the administration of Gagra district. According to Tamaz Tsakhnakia, de facto Minister of Healthcare, 13 600 citizens underwent medical check-ups. General medical check-ups for the population of Abkhazia commenced on April 5, 2019, from Gali district and completed on June 10, in Gagra district.

On June 7, 2019, Adgur Ardzinba, de facto Minister of Economy of Abkhazia, and Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy of Russian Federation, signed protocol on amendments to the agreement on trade regime between Russia and Abkhazia. Amendment implies supply of petroleum products without export customs duties, that will result in abolishing of preliminary customs clearance regime.
Valeri Bganba, de facto Prime Minister of Abkhazia, participated in the plenary session of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum-2019. The forum was opened by the President of Russia. Within the Forum framework, Bganba met with the members of Russian Government: Vitaly Mutko, Deputy Chairman, Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy and Alexander Beglov, acting Governor of St. Petersburg.
