On June 9, 2020, Eleonora Mitrofanova, Head of Federal Agency for CIS States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Affairs (Россотрудничество), under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, has resigned. According to her earlier statement, she should be appointed as Ambassadors-at-Large.
