On February 1, in the office of the Abkhaz Black Sea Cossack Host and the Russian Community of Abkhazia, a public headquarters in support of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, was set up.
The establishment of a Public Advisory Council to deal with the issues of Russian compatriots is planned at the de facto “embassy” of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia.
On February 1 of this year, a public headquarters in support of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, was created in Sokhumi.
On December 30, during a press conference, organizations of Russian compatriots in Abkhazia summed up their activities in 2020. Two main directions of the organizations' activities for the current year were identified:
On December 29, at a video conference, the Russian Community of Abkhazia summarized the 2020 activities. The online conference was attended by the Chairman of the public organization, Roman Ryazantsev, and members of the council: Vasily Pozdniakov, Sergei Kozhevnikov, Konstantin Vasilev and Sergei Mandrikin.
