The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, awarded organizations of Russian compatriots in Abkhazia.

On February 1, in the office of the Abkhaz Black Sea Cossack Host and the Russian Community of Abkhazia, a public headquarters in support of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, was set up.

The establishment of a Public Advisory Council to deal with the issues of Russian compatriots is planned at the de facto “embassy” of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia.

On February 1 of this year, a public headquarters in support of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, was created in Sokhumi.

On December 30, during a press conference, organizations of Russian compatriots in Abkhazia summed up their activities in 2020. Two main directions of the organizations' activities for the current year were identified:

On December 29, at a video conference, the Russian Community of Abkhazia summarized the 2020 activities. The online conference was attended by the Chairman of the public organization, Roman Ryazantsev, and members of the council: Vasily Pozdniakov, Sergei Kozhevnikov, Konstantin Vasilev and Sergei Mandrikin.

On December 3, the Chairman of the Russian community in Abkhazia, Roman Ryazantsev, and the Otaman of the Black Sea Cossack Host of Abkhazia, Vadim Mironenko, laid flowers at the grave of the Unknown Soldier.
