The bus service between Abkhazia and Kabardino-Balkaria will be resumed on November 14. The bus service was interrupted in December last year and in connection with the liquidation of the Kabalkavtotrans-1438 state unitary carrier enterprise.
The coach of the Russian national freestyle wrestling team, Dzambolat Tedeev, the Tokyo Olympic champion from North Ossetia, Zaurbek Sidakov, and the winners - Arthur Naifonov and Sergey Kozyrev, were greeted with honors in Tskhinvali. Tskhinvali Football Club (Цхинвал) takes part in the North Ossetian football championship. Due to the pandemic, the Tskhinvali team did not participate in the championship last year. According to the coach of Tskhinvali FC, Soslan Kochiev, in the first game with one of the leaders of last year, Shield of Ossetia FC (Щит Осетии), the club won with a score of 2: 1.
On March 27, a branch of the Zenit Russian football club youth academy was solemnly opened in the Sokhumi Philharmonic Hall. The de facto President, Aslan Bzhania, the “Mayor” of Sokhumi, Beslan Eshba, and the Zenit representatives attended the event. Bzhania thanked Elena Ilyukhina, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, and Alexander Medvedev, the General Director of the club, for their support of the young footballers of Abkhazia.

A rowing slalom team from St. Petersburg will hone their skills on the river Bzip, the Gagra district, Abkhazia, until March 30. According to a coach Natalia Rogova, the decision to train in Abkhazia and prepare for future competitions was based on the experience of her colleague, Nadezhda Kostyleva, who herself trained on the river Bzip in 1988.
