The vaccination of relatives of military servicemen is underway at the 7th military base of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia. Over 4000 people received the Sputnik V Russian vaccine against the coronavirus. Recruits of the spring call-up are also being vaccinated.

More than 40 specialized posts were set up and over 60 brigades were formed, half of which are mobile, for vaccination purposes. The Vaccination is voluntary and is done with written consent.

A total of over 130,000 military personnel of the Southern Military District received the Russian vaccine.
