On the second day of his working visit to Moscow, the de facto President, Aslan Bzhania, met with the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Alexander Novak. The de facto Deputy Prime Minister of Abkhazia, Kristina Ozgan, also participated in the meeting which discussed the implementation of the roadmap for the optimization of energy supply and the development of a general gasification scheme for Abkhazia.

On the same day, Bzhania met with the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council, Rashid Nurgaliyev, who oversees the direction of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali in the Security Council.

Bzhania’s working visit in Moscow started on July 29. On the first day of his visit, Bzhania met with Dmitry Kozak, the Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration, who supervises the directions of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region and is one of the most influential officials in this field. On the same day Bzhania met with Igor Maslov, who oversees the directions of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region.

Bzhania paid working visits to  Moscow in April and May. In 2020, Bzhania had seven “official” visits to Russia.
